The Frewen Cup could only be played this year over nine holes as heavy rain interrupted the match by flooding the greens. The winner was Jack Hanbury who scored 14 points followed closely in second place by Horatio Holloway who scored 13 points.
For the under 14 year old members there was a nine holes competition which was won by Tom Batchelor who scored 14 points, and a five holes competition which was won by Piers Clark with 8 points.
The over 14 year old eclectic competition over 18 holes was won by Paul Albury with an improvement of 12 shots in his score.
The under 14 year old competition over 18 holes was won by Oliver Plaistowe with a 23 shot improvement and the competition over 5 holes was won by Max Wetton with a 12 shot improvement.
Fourteen pairs of adults & young members competed in a stableford match on a beautifully sunny afternoon. The winners were Mary Bathurst and Alexander Nevile who scored 37 points followed in second place by John Houlilhan and Jack Paxman who scored 34 points.
Eleven young members turned out to play in the Trevor Davies Cup. The winner was James Brown with 45 points followed by Audrey Davies and Horatio Holloway in second and third places repectively, both scoring 37 points.
