Huntercombe Miscellany

Huntercombe is able to offer excellent facilities for both Company/Corporate Golf days and Golfing Societies alike. The course is always in immaculate condition with challenging greens and fairways that are always a pleasure to play on.

Everyone who plays at Huntercombe acknowledges that it is a superb inland course in the traditional manner. Just by playing Huntercombe, you will be the envy of every discerning golfer. We also pride ourselves on the quality of our catering facilities, offering superb quality food at very reasonable prices. Nothing is too much trouble for our Clubhouse staff who are well known for making all visitors extremely welcome.

Don't just take our word for it. Below are just a few examples of the comments that we are regularly sent:

"...how much we enjoyed our Society Day at Huntercombe. The Course really is in excellent condition and was appreciated by all. Equally important, in the true tradition of Huntercombe, the staff were friendly and efficient, the food magnificent. It really was the 'icing on the cake;' and we would like our grateful thanks passed on to them."

"... Yesterday it was my good fortune to be a guest of one of your Members for a round of golf followed by lunch at Huntercombe Golf Club. I had to take a few moments to write and thank everyone I met, Members and Staff, for making me so welcome. I must also compliment you on the condition of your beautiful course. What is more, the good food and service we received at lunch on such a busy day for your catering staff was very much appreciated. It seems to me that Huntercombe would be a benchmark for course condition and clubhouse hospitality, but very few clubs could match the lovely views and setting. Thank you all very much for your part in my having such a good day.."

"... a brief note to thank you for another splendid day at Huntercombe. The Course was,as usual, top notch, as indeed was the hospitality. I have heard from many members of our society, all of whom are appreciative of a great day at a marvellous venue."

"... Once again the Course and the Greens were enjoyed by all and the staff polite and attentive. I would particularly like to place on record our thanks to the Head Chef for the very excellent food; the general consensus being that dinner was the most enjoyable of the 5 meetings we have held at various Clubs this year. She really did go out of her of her way to provide a first class service. Please convey our appreciation to all concerned.
