Huntercombe welcomes visitors and will usually be able to accommodate any individuals or small groups wishing to play; we do not however, take formal tee bookings for green fee visitors.
It is advisable to telephone the Pro shop - 01491 641241 - in advance to check for availability of tee times as there are often societies, inter-club matches or Members' competitions taking place.
Visitors are normally required to start at the 1st tee only. We only allow two ball games at Huntercombe although three ball games may be possible depending on the time and only with the express permission of the Secretary. Fourballs are not allowed at any time on the Course.
Although we do not always insist on handicap certificates, we do require that, because of the challenging nature of the course, all visitors are of an adequate standard of play and, of course, understand the etiquette and rules of golf.
Dress code: Smart casual is required in the Clubhouse at all times up to 6.00 pm, after which jackets and ties are required. Jeans are not permitted and tailored shorts are allowed only if accompanied by long white socks. Please note, short socks are not allowed on the Course at any time.
Mobile phones are not allowed on the Course at any time.
Please do not bring golf clubs into the Clubhouse or changing rooms. For security reasons, they are best left in your car boot.
For your added security, there are security locks on the external door to both the main Clubhouse entrance and the Ladies' Locker Rooms - the key pad entry codes are available from the Secretary's office or from any member of staff.
All visitor green fees are paid in the Pro's shop and we can take cash, cheques or all major credit cards. We do not allow any green fee visitors to play before 10.30am on weekends or Bank Holidays without permission from the Secretary.
